Mission Statement
The Swiss Gun Collectors Association was formed to preserve the history of
Swiss gunmaking in all its aspects and to inform its members of the ongoing new
designs from modern Swiss precision firearms manufacturers. In addition, the
Association works to inform of the unique Swiss Alpine lifestyle emphasizing the
virtues of honesty, thrift, and industriousness. The Swiss lifestyle includes
the long-standing tradition of the citizen soldier that has served as a
deterrent to outside aggression, which, along with its political philosophy of
neutrality, has allowed Switzerland to remain a peaceful nation for hundreds of
years. Our Association depends on the support of its members as well as its corporate sponsors to make all of its activities and services possible. Membership is open to all those with an interest in Swiss firearms and the Alpine Lifestyle.
